Woke up early and headed to the Board meeting where I devoured so much for breakfast before presenting at the board meeting. My presentation is always pretty quick (it’s all in my report!) and the only hiccup was a misunderstanding regarding internet availability in the room.

After that, I headed to on-site registration. Had some not so much fun moments, but it was mostly slow all day there.

I was allowed to leave an hour early in order to head off to the hockey game! Blackhawks vs. Maple Leafs. It was such an unexpected treat and a heck of a good game. There was a fight right in front of us and an empty netter with just seconds left in the game. It was a fun game and I’m glad I got to share it with my pubs assistants of the past and present, who I think had a fun time too. Oh, and I did I mention the seats were in row ELEVEN?! As in, eleven rows back from the ice!

I went to get my laptop from downstairs and discovered awesome Irish drinking songs that can be heard clearly from outside the Irish pub inside the hotel! So I went and got my stuff and settled in down here for a little while. Now I’ve got happy-making music to write this to! I do love me a good Irish drinking song :-)
